Snow Flakes

It is going to be hard to say good-bye to the good ole’ USA. I will be leaving so many wonderful friends and such a wonderful family. But I know that as I reflect upon my life I know that it is because of such a wonderful family and so many wonderful friends that I am able to leave. When I look up to the stars at night I will be reminded that no matter where I am in the world we all still share the stars and the moon.

This morning snowflakes fell from the sky and as I opened my mouth to catch the flakes I was reminded that it is the simple things of life that are the greatest blessings. Some times in our rush to complete the next task that we miss the most wonderful gifts from God.

I do not want to miss one of these moments by trying to get to the next.

Let the Journey Begin

Welcome, This blog was started to document the life of a Central Asia Nomad. This blog is a journal for family and friends so they can keep up with all my adventures and sure misadventures at time.

It is hard to believe that I have been in Virginia for this long. I am down to only 18 days until I leave to go to Central Asia. I will leave on March 15th. I am planning on having one last party on March 11th. I have had such a wonderful time getting ready to leave. This has been a much needed break.

Yesterday I sent in my paper work to get my visa. It was quite expensive. I guess I am used to the old days of living in Taiwan and you just get a ticket and go. I am very excited and only a little nervous.
These pictures are just a few random ones that I like.

Thank you

Justin
